I'm on my 2nd round of Accutane right now. I've been on everything pretty much from tetrcycline, ery-tabs, ampicillin, retin-a, retin-a micro, and probably a few others i can't think of right now.
genetics suck. lol
all you have to do tho, is just see a dermatologist and they'll help you out |

btw, it has A LOT of side effects, like nose bleeding every now and then, your face and lips will be dry most of the time, and the mentaly "downs" you get sometimes.

See a skin care specialist who can give you DDF products (some have alpha hydroxy at higher than retail levels). Get MICROPEELS.
You'll be amazed. It'll change your life. Be sure to see a skin care specialist and not just someone who does facials. |
Ok, I worked at Sephora and we are trained for skincare. Sephora carries the DDF brand (Doctor's Dermatological Formula) and it's an awesome line. Also, look into checking out Murad for problem skin, it's a great acne regimen, and pH Advantage (a line from Dr Cohen, a surgeon here in the DC area).
For maintenance, "Microdermabrasion in a jar" from Dr Brandt is great, I have been acne-free for 10 months... If you don't have a Sephora in your area, try www.sephora.com
Hope I helped;) |

Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5 is great. i had moderate acne around my chin and now its completly gone bar 1 or 2 occasional spots. the only problem is from time to time my chin will go really really red which in my opinion looks worse than the acne. i actually looked like homer simpson because of it.
while using B.P gel i found it was even more effective if you take vitamin C and vitamin E tablets as well as Evening Primrose Oil pills. these are all good for the skin and help to regulate oil production. i have sex on a bi-weekly basis now :tongue3 |
