No, u just THINK u know that. Sure, maybe those people who go and get their boyfriend or girlfriend's name tattoo'd.... But for you to make such a general comment like that is just plain ididotic. I also highly doubt that people are gonna live the life according to maxpain, so get over yourself.
There are PLENTY of people who take the whole tattoo subculture very seriously. Piercings are removable, you know. Tattoos are too (laser removal). I am not going to regret my tattoos because I carefully chose them, and have artwork from some artists that people would give their left nut to get a piece by them.
You know, life is full of choices, and regrets. Luckily we live in a free country where we can make those decisions for OURSELVES, and we don't have to answer to a Dick-tator who feels the whole world should live according to their doctrine and ideology. You think people don't make other decisions in their lives that they won't regret later? (Having a baby too soon, being promiscuous, committing crimes, being a dick to your fellow man, etc...) Just cuz there isn't a 'visible mark' for society to see this so-called 'future regret' of yours, doesn't mean your life is peachy keen. Getting a tattoo or pierced doesn't harm anyone else- it's a personal decision. This is the important point you're missing, dear Max. We don't know you, and we certainly don't need to live by your ideals, cuz all u are is some schmo on a messageboard with an arrogance problem.
I'd like you to walk into any tattoo shop (or better yet, a tattoo convention) and voice your opinions on how 'stupid' tattoo'ing is to their staff of employees. Let me know when you do, cuz I'd love to see u get an ass-whooping.
So, if u don't have anything else to say on the matter aside from 'it won't make u hotter, you'll regret it, its stupid' (which you've already posted about 2 dozen times, cuz holy crap your arguments are so redundant), please STFU on the matter already. |

I love my tattoos. All have meaning to me and I desgined them myself (except for the Japanese character, which means 'life'). Oh yeah, I also have my belly button pierced, and my tongue, and my nose and ears. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!! Bahaha, LOL!!

I used to have my tongue pierced...but I decided to remove it b/c I was always chewing on it which wasn't good for my teeth.
I loved it though and I miss it......:( |

Well this thread did not begin as a tattoo and tongue ring thread and started off as a belly button ring thing but then everyone wanted to come on and talk about how they had their backs and asses or whatever tattooed and talk about how they had their tongues pierced ect. so don't act shocked when I give an opinion on tattoos and tongue rings ect. when it was everyone else who brought up the topic and merged it with the belly button ring topic.
Some tattoos look alright but I really don't know what the point of getting your back,neck ect. tattooed is especially when you wouldn't even get to see much of your own tattoo:rolleyes: Why get a tattoo which others will look at more often then yourself if you are doing the tattoo thing for yourself and not to show off to others? |
