I didn't ask you how many people you know who are Israeli but not Jewish so shut up. Canada is not an official Catholic state and homeland in a way that Isreal is an official Jewish stare and homeland otherwise getting a citizenship in Canada would a be A LOT harder to get then it is now.Someone can not just go from Canada to Israel and get an Israeli citizenship just like that and it is much easier for an Israeli to come to Canada and get a citizenship because Canada is not an official Catholic state. You are trying to compare apples and potato chips.
I didn't ask you if you were Jewish too because I could care less and I don't care if you are a Jew from Iran or Afghanistan or wherever so stop telling me things which I don't give a about :tongue3 |

It is very hard and damn near impossible for a Catholic or Orthadox person to immigrate to Israel and impossible for a Muslim or Arab person to do so period since they don't want any more coming in and hence you have the big controversy over the right of return in the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.
The Israeli Christians and Israeli Arabs are ones who have been on that land for many many many many generations and simply survived all the and didn't refugee off to Jordan or where ever so don't act like these Israeli Christians just came off the plane from Greece or Italy yesterday and got citizenships handed to them because it isn't the case and don't act as if Arabs are being immigrated into the country as well and gaining citizenships because that would also be total bull.
Russian Mobsters and high end criminals who are Orthadox and can't get an Israeli citizenship get their buddies to say they are relatives and basically say they are Jewish and not Orthadox ior simply have an inside man to help them get the citizenship which is very hard to get for a Russian Orthadox person.
Israel is very attractive because if you are a citizen of Israel and you are wanted in another country then Israel won't hand one of their Israeli citizens over to another country to be persecuted. Also if you go to Israel then you can deposit as much money as you want into an Israeli bank with no questions asked much like Switzerland.
So Israel is not so easy to get a citizenship from otherwise every high end criminal in the world would be living there as we speak and if Canada were a Catholic version of Israel (as in a Catholic homeland and state) then it wouldn't be so easy for people to immigrate and refugee into this country.
So how the heck could Starsearcher be a citizen of Israel if he and his parents are not Jewish? What is his parents race wise and religion wise? |

AH yes, but Israel has granted citizenship for people immigrating from certain countries- Russia, Ethiopia, etc.. if they can claim some Jewish lineage.

That is 100% false. First off, that old law was in place when the state of Israel was created, and it was the general consensus after the Holocaust that a Jew could not get a fair trial. Israel's new law (since '99) is that they will send you back to that country where you are accused for trial, but u will be returned to Israel to serve your sentence.
Also, Israel is one of the few countries that will prosecute their citizens for crimes commited in OTHER countries. Example: an Israeli travel agent working in Italy raped an Israeli woman (Miss World Israel) while she was on holiday there. Go figure, Italy did nothing about it. Israel kept things hushed so that the travel agent would feel no worry about returning to Israel. As soon as his plane laneded, the cuffs were put on. BUSTED!!! |
