eheehheh this is cool, im bored at work today so ill let my imagination run wild...and ill play along with this even though its nearly an impossibility for me at this point...

but damns i SO wish...france ahha. but id need to speak the language first, or at least try.

actually i have yet to go abroad even to visit...but its a dream that i hope will happen either later this summer or the fall...

*crosses fingers*

as for what type of job im looking for, i have to figure that out. ive actually done quite a number of things in various areas of marketing and promotion as well as database management and customer service <-- i hate this with a passion though :whip, i prefer CLIENT service, not customer, thank u very much :smiletongue2

-- and within various fields...majored in business with concentrations in marketing and hr -- did about five years of that in various fields...then rediscovered my passions from childhood and fell intensely for graphic design, photojournalism, writing, and art history until i ran out of money a yr ago...

anyways, im still searchign for a career so right now totally willing to *consider* something new and worthwhile. in the past two years my people skills and confidence have grown thousandfold as well so i def would consider something with more exposure to people and travel as opposed to just a desk job (but no commissioned sales please). lols. and somehow no matter how i try to reign myself in, when it comes down to it, i have a hard time dealing with authority. But i manage to do a kickass job of playing office politics in order to get things done, esp. if if im able to prove my skills invaluable to the company im working with. I never get talked down on, and Ive been in madd situations where Im able to get along wid higher-ups even more successfully than my immediate supervisor...lol. thats me in a nutshell. :D

yeah just been contemplating about my life as of late...interestingly enough...one of my really close guy friends/godbro who just moved out to cali and lives in a junior 1 bedroom, practically told me the extra room in his apt is MINE if and whenever i wanted it, that if i wanted to come now, i could chill there while looking for a job and just pay him whatever i wanted. pretty neat eh? :D :D

ive never been out to cali...:D

ok back to work hehe. sorry this was so long.

for these kind of jobs, french is not a requirement, many companies employs some american/english ppl, especially in these domains: marketing, management, datamining...

if yours skills are valuable, you can go everywhere....;)

yeah i know. but a lot of planning would be involved. i plan to start now, and lets just see what develops.

at least i have that cali option as a default. :D i could totally move out there even widout a job, just pick up and go. id prolly get a part time job out there...and i have enuff in my bank acct to survive for a few months or so...

so it seems to be a good alternative for u, if it's not too riskee to go there, just try, and u will see, maybe there will be some good oportunities for u ;)

So I am happy, very happy to say I have found a new job. I start next Monday and I am going from downtown back to midtown which i am very excited about. I am going to be an Underwriter for a small company. Along with a small pay increase I am getting the out of the job I am at right now which is a very unhealthy situation. So I am gonna give myself a pat on the back and say Congrats. I can feel my entire being become happier because of this.
