I figure after Iran, we should nuke North Korea, and while we are at it - let's anihilate China and Russia. Then we'll have only few small peanuts left: Sudan, Lybia, Syria, Yemen, and Jordan... and then CANADA, WE'RE COMMING TO LIBERATE YOU! :haha:

ALL HAIL BUSH - THE GREAT CONQUEROR!

On the flip side:

One other thing I noticed - Cyrus pays an awful lot of attention to American affairs. Not seen that many posts criticizing Canadian government or actions. I guess Canada must be a country with flawless government. :stongue:

Another enlightening post by h@x0r...

Normally, one would assume anyone suggesting nuking China or Russia would be taking the piss, but something tells me this guy is seriously deluded enuf to actually believe it!

(BTW, if you did nuke China or Russia, you wont have any peanuts left to deal with as you will be DEAD!)

I think it was only sarcasm.

Anyhoo.
I predict mid 2006 & Bush or Israel bombs whatever suspected nuclear sites in Iran, but I dont think there will be an invasion. Thats also only if Iran doesnt cooperate with the UN inspectors like Saddam.

i wonder what the world will be like in 2020, we're moving seemingly at the speed of light, and not even noticing.

Yeah, Cheney is already talking about their 'robust' nuclear program and what not. I hope they at least get reliable information before they invade this time.

Seriously tho, the US would not be able to do another one of these invasions for a LONG time, so I doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

You've got a point there. I've been expecting Allawi to somehow win just like Karzai did in Afghanistan after being the temporary leader. Given the demographics of Iraq, it would seem logical that a Shi'ite should easily win, but I doubt Bush really spent that money & PR on having a government that might be more like Iran. It would be impossible for Rove, Cheney, Rumsfeld & others to not have realized that when they invaded, no matter how poor some of the planning was.

YE the Iraqis are really going to be happy with this solution:rolleyes:

And attacks will cease forthwith.....

I am certain the one who wins is a pro American , and you can guess why that happens.

American mite be selfish, but certianly not stupid. They didnīt invest billions of dollers just to free people and see Democracy that will pick another anti America president.

My vote is 2006 or half of 2006

It will all be peace and tranquility when the Americans elect the next president.....of IRAQ.....

I'm persian myself, so I really do want US to go to Iran and try put a stop to the damn Mullahs.. en hate them.

I hope freedom is brought to Iran once more, after being taken away from US when they brought that Mullah Khomehni (sp?)

I remember the Shah of Iran, far out, now he was a leader. He made Iran look more westernized but the damn Mullahs and their bull beliefs brainwashed people into thinking something bad was happenening.

I know alot of people keep relating Iran to bad things, you couldn't be more wrong.. but if u related the Mullahs to bad things, then i would agree.

Down with the Mullahs

I am also Iranian but I believe if Iranians want change bad enough, they will revolt. You should not "hope" that the Americans invade Iran. That would be a disaster for both sides.

Yes, 95% of the country wants change. However, the last thing that they want is for the US to "liberate" them. Any attempt to invade Iran will stir up extreme nationalism and will unify the country against the foreign aggressor.

Iran is no Iraq. They have not been sanctioned for the last 14 years. While they were friendly with the US, they acquired 60 F-14 tomcats, most of which are still operational. The rest of their airforce is quite powerful along with their army and navy. They also have favorable terrain for defense; lots of mountainous regions which would make it difficult for the US to transport supplies, troops, etc.

I seriously doubt that US will ever invade Iran. They'll have an extremely difficult time trying to sell this to the American public who have already had to deal with the 200 billion dollar cost of the current war as well as the 1,200 US deaths. I doubt any country would help the US....maybe Israel, but that's it.

I agree with everything that you've said. The last thing Iran needs is Americans trying to bring their so called democracy since that would turn it into a big disaster. The US has alot at stake here that is if they decide to attack Iran. Firstly their troops in Iraq are very easy target. Also it'll make the situation for them in Iraq in alot worst shape then it is now, since most of the Iraq population are shiia muslims and Iran government has alot of influence on them and it'll be a whole new war for the Americans to fight in Iraq.
So their only option left would be to use Isreal and if Isreal attaks Iran I'd say it'll be a long and bloody war and it will get alot of other countries invlove as well.
Alot of people choose not to see the fact that Iran does have a powerful millitary in the region, maybe not as big and powerful as Isreal but powerful enough.
Bottom line it will not be a piece of cake for the US to invade or attack Iran wothout alot of casualties.
