I don't want to try and be like Diabolic here but the reason im posting this is to get some feedback here.
So a couple of weeks ago im at home and my phone rings. I answer and it's a girl who i gave my number to at a club EONS ago. I had fogotten she had even existed until that moment. Anyways we ended up chatting for a long time and agreed to meet on the weekend. I had suggested she join myself and my friends at Guvernment since I had already made plans with them coming in from out of town. She was quite happy with the idea.
We spoke again a second time and the conversation kept turning into discussions about finances and she even asked me at one point how much money i make. I'm not embarassed about my finances but even so it's a very in appropriate question and i refused to answer instead just saying "enough to live comfortably." The line of questioning went even deeper into "what if" scenarios designed to see if she was talking to a guy who would be suckered into paying for her situations.
Normally by this point i would have scrapped the whole plans because this kind of thing to me is very unladylike but due to the fact that we had such good conversation beforehand and since i was intrigued to see how far she'd take this, i continued.
We agreed to meet that night at around 7ish. 8 oclock comes around and i still havnt heard from her so i continued on with the rest of my plans which included meeting up with with a good friend of mine and heading to the club to meet up with the out of town friends. 9:30, she calls and wants me to meet her at Yorkdale. (she had been shopping) OK fine so we head off to Yorkdale to pick her up.
Shes a nice looking cougar (early 30s) who looks like shania twain. Very nice body as well. Definately a head turner. So we decide to get a quick bite before heading to the club (since we were now running late thanks to her). I had to tie up a few loose ends as well so my friend went and ordered the food. SHe had known this guy for 15 minutes and do you think she even offers to pay for her food? NOPE! (i paid him back later at the bar)
So we get to the club and all is good but she puts her purse in the DJ booth and then says "lets go get a drink". Um, ok... whatever i dont mind. But at least pretend to care about paying for it (as mentioned in that other thread). Not bringing your purse to the bar is pretty cheesy even though i was going to buy.
So we end the night around 3ish and i take her back to her car... Being a gentleman i wont go into detail here but at around 5 am its time for her to go home. She says something like "i know you take care of ladies so i know you will fill my car with gas". I asked, "Do you not have money of your own?" She said yes but she felt it was my responsibilty as a man to make sure she had enough gas to get home!
WHATEVER!!
So she is sent packing without her gas and has now been calling me non-stop everyday since. FAAAK AAAAF.
I dont mind paying for dates, i dont mind treating women right, and to be honest this was not even really a date since it was very last minute and she was invited to come with the group. I would have loved to take her out again if she hadnt been such a gold digger. But hell when you want a guy to pay for you dont be so bloody obvious about it! Also, dont be asking about his personal finances when you barely know him!
let me tell you this, i dont care what a woman looks like, if her personality is ass then hit the road! |

It's a well-known fact that single women in their early 30's are money-hungry and sex-hungry. They feel like they're in a rush to settle down, so they start focusing on what's really important in life: a husband with money, and making babies. Forget all that "love" nonsense. I wouldn't be surprised if she was previously divorced.
Anyway, PM me her number. :D :D :D
Seriously, I'm known for being a total sucker to women. I always pay for everything.... with a smile!

I don't mind paying, but I hate being expected to provide. Since when does a girl deserve special treatment because she's female? What happened to equality? Last I checked, it's still a 2 way street. |

Ok, this chic was 2 and 1/2 hours late in meeting you guys up. Not only that, but she made you guys pick her up, pay for her food & drinks, and she f*cked you on the first date. That shows no respect towards herself, or you, or your friends.
Don't bother talking to a chic like that again. You could do so much better. :rolleyes:

I wouldn't make this a political issue. If you want to get with her, you'll have to suck it up.
Women have all the power in relationships. Deal with it.
I'm much more concerend about feminism in other areas such as the shocking decline in birth rates in the West. |

Exactly... Im quite sick of games and greedy people. There are a lot of decent women out there but there are way too many women like this as well that ruin it for them.

Ha! Man, maybe you and me are just after different types of women. Relationships are partnerships. Hell I've been out on dates where the girl has insisted on paying.
Just because they're breaking up with me doesn't mean it's not a good gesture |
