After seeing what the Patriots did against the Colts and Steelers I would have to go with them.

There is a great difference between the team I want to win and who I think will win...I think Pats will win...but I REALLY WANT Phili to win...if not...the entire campus will laugh at me (I'm known as the Eagles guy) Plus I think the Pats are overrated...

overrated? no way, the Colts are overrated. they've been the talk of the season and p.manning his pants when playing the pats. of course mcnabb wont, but i dont think the pats are overrated. they have a solid defense that can get the picks, they have a good running game, their offense is balanced and wins games.

It has nothing to do with TO. Thomason probably won't even see any playing time, as I'm assuming he'll be 3rd string behind Smith and Bartrum, unless they want to bump him up to 2nd since Bartrum is also the long snapper.

TO's surgeon said that he will not clear him to play in the Super Bowl though, so I'm not sure if there's any way around that or not.

TO is playing, the doc is just making sure he isn't held liable when TO steps on the field.....

If he doesn't play, he's an idiot........ After Curt Schilling, no player is going to give up the opportunity to pull a hero like Curt did...TO WILL PLAY!

That's what I think...

to is kinda dumb for doing that his ankle. but damn its the superbowl and how many people get to go to it? not too many but yeah it would make for an interesting game and hopefully doestn screw it up anymore.

T.O should play in my opinion
I mean come on now Jack Youngblood played with a broken leg in superbowl 14, Ronnie Lott once had his top part of his finger amputated during a game just so he can go out and play again.
King Encal makes a good point about the doctors desicion,I see how T.O might be risking further damage if he plays but he already has way to much money anyways, just go out there and give your best on the field and live out your dream bro, cause it may never happen again.

no way TOs gonna play. and if he does, dont even bother covering him.
1st play of the game he gets a hard bump off the line and his ankle will crumble again.

even w/o him I think philly will win.
and dawkins is gonna take some heads off.

about TO .. it's a 50-50 thing .. if the ankle is good, then he should play .. if it is still sore, and he cant run his routes, then he shouldn't play ..

i am all for him playing, after hearing the news he is now running on the treadmill (a good improvment) .. yet, he should be sure about his status ..

remember grant hill .. remember how great he was with detroit.. how detroit pushed him to the limits during the playoffs .. now he is almost three years removed after several ankle surgeries .. detroit messed up his could have been all-star career ..

TO is a great player, and if he sees that playing would furthur deter his progress with his ankle, or ruin his career, then he shouldn't play .. the eagles look capable of beating the pats without him .. i think ..:nervous: :nervous:
