in the beginning, i wrote philadelphia out of the playoffs, because i thought they did not have a good defense .. well i was wrong back then .. a very good underrated (imo) defense .. and the most underrated is jim johnson, the defensive coordinator .. people talk about how belichick is a defensive genius .. jim johnson is as much of a creative force on defensive schemes as belichick ..

eagles 26, patriots 22

Not quite sure why you think the Eagles defense is underrated. They've been known to be one of the Top 5 defenses in the NFL the past few years. And Jim Johnson is arguably the best defensive coordinator in the league. Then again I'm biased because I live in the area. :D

I just put $150 with the Eagles and they better not let me down.

Admittedly, I know the favoured team are the Patriots, but the Eagles pay better for this bet.

Hopefully, after tomorrow's game I'll win this en bet and can play some POKER again for big bucks!!! :toocool:

you got screwed.

damn i shoulda bet on this game, even got the score right.

Philadelphia may have beaten us in the Major League Lacrosse championship, but they didn't beat us in the Superbowl! Congratulations on your third Superbowl win in four years, New England Patriots!!!

What do Rocky Balboa and the Eagles have in common? Both are fictional champions from Philadelphia. :p

You know, when the Pats got the ball back and it was 24-14, i thought my 31-14 prediction would come true... ah well. PATRIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!!! WHO CAN STOP US??? NOBODY!!! Congrats to the Pats and to all those who bitch and moan about the "calls" they get or the breaks or what not... WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY NOW?!??!?!? DYNASTY is all I have to say!

first off good game,Pats are now like the Cowboys of the 90s winning 3 in 4 years.
Mcnabb blew it pretty much with those INTs, and T.O had a very good game considerring his situation.
funny how Vinnateri Kicked the winning field goal of a superbowl again, only this time it was with 10 minutes left :p
the 2 best teams of this decade so far battled it out and it was classic.
btw I bet on the Eagles-low and I won 110 bucks!thanks eagles :D

I hate the Patriots! Great game though. Meet alot of great people had like 4 pitchers of beer.

Pats are a dynasty but a very different one in my opinion. They dont dominate in the usual way by blowing them out, which makes it even more annoying.
