Dude! We had a tornado watch in upstate NY, which turned into super high winds, lightning and loads of RAIN.
I was doing work at an outdoor festival when one of these storms hit. All of the vendors were totally off guard, tents and tables were flying with the high wind, people were running all over the place. Carnival workers were trying too get people off of the ferris wheel, because it was swaying in the wind. A lighning strike, to a transformer, took out almost half of this town's power. It was total chaos!!:eek:
This was stuff you only see on the Weather Channel, a wild Friday...I wish I had stayed in!:eyespop: |
