well, it hasn't been a very interesting year, but Garden State is definitely one of the best movies this year. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as well.

I was also pleasently surprised by Girl Next Door.

Garden State is def up there, Girl Next Door was pretty good :tongue2

I found that Troy was quite terrible, aside from a few cool action scenes. A royal sausage fest.

House of flying daggers was very good.

I'd put Garden State in place of F 9/11

It wasn't even a movie it was a documentary

F 9/11 was propaganda.

Though it came 1 year prior in Asia, I think House of Flying Daggers deserves the #1 or #2 spot. Along with that, Chronicles of Riddick(avid sci-fi fan), Hero, Troy, and Ghost in the Shell 2(yea its anime, but its still good).

I just picked up House of Flying Daggers yesterday at the asian expo for $7. it's pretty good although i thought there was to many 'i'm going to leave you/running back to my love' moments and what i thought were random makeout/sex scenes. And wtf they need to learn how to kiss or some .

SPiderman 2 is around 1 x 10^123412541351412412412434 place on that list

Wow I haven't seen any of the movies mentioned in this thread, except for the Asian movies: House of Flying Daggers and Hero (both were good).

Hero was released in Asia in 2002 wasn't it? I dont think it would be a contender for the 2004 list would it?
Magimaster
No one has Dodgeball on their list.

*shakes head in disappointment* :D

I would post a list, but for some reason last year I watched a little less movies than I usually do.
KrazyDJs

My Top 9 of 2004
----------------------
1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
2. Super Size Me
3. Before Sunset
4. Girl Next Door
5. The Incredibles
6. Fahrenheit 9/11
7. Spiderman 2
8. Shrek 2
9. Hero

The epics disappointed. Troy and Alexander sucked balls.

House of Flying Daggers = overrated, imo.

Ray, Aviator, Sideways, Closer and Million Dollar Baby were only released this year here in Aus. In addition to those I'm waiting to see Fantastic Four, Sin City, Star Wars: Episode III, Batman Begins.. and a few others.
