This I know..
Its also true that it was only released in the US in 04..
So I'm throwing them in the same category.. whether its actually made in 04 is of no consequence to me. |

Just watched the first 50mins of I <3 Huckabees on my Imate Jam on the way to work this morning, and so far I am loving the surrealism :D
Can't wait to go home so I can watch the end and then an episode of scrubs, lol |

1. Collateral
2. Hero
3. Eternal Sunshine
4. The Village (shut up, I liked it :whip: )
5. Napoleon Dynamite
6. The Incredibles
7. Anchorman
8. Shrek 2
9. Ocean's 12
10. Mean Girls
Also saw Dodgeball, Spiderman 2, Troy, Alexander, the Will Smith movie with robots (and the name I forgot), and a couple others.
I need to see more movies.
This year I'd say my top 3 so far are:
1. Hotel Rwanda
2. Sin City
3. Meet the Fockers |

| Wow, I really am a movie whore, I've seen mostly ever one mentioned in this thread with the exception of maybe... two. Eternal Sunshine was my favourite for the past year. Excellent film. |

Well, the thing is, Hollywood is just not letting you see the awesome movies from around the world. Some brilliant films come from all over the place, yet the distribution and exhibitionism that Hollywood controls is like an Iron Fist.
it's a shame, really. To see movies from other countries and stuff, you have to go to a Film Festival or like Mezzir said, go to the local indie cinema. Don't think that all the movies in the world come from Hollywood. Try and find movies from other independent filmmakers from other countries. You'll be surprised by how good some of them are. |
