im guessing second sun are not going to make more "empires"... everything else they've done since that debut deal signing track leans towards their other elektroish vocal experimental sounds. empire might just be one for the books, but i don't expect them to match it in style and structure again, and they really shouldn't! im sure they'll do something different but equally good or better in the future if its not found on the album. i look forward to this regardless.... |
if my memory serves me correctly, empire took 6 months to complete
i dont think they are patient enough to work on yet another 6 month project. |

matthew cerf helped write empire, and he is no longer with second sun |

who is the fourth?
this is probably why empire couldn't be released on album
its signed on vandit (reason why its on tpod) but since its being released on system recordings, second sun couldn't get the clearance from the former second sun people
maybe international would have a bonus disc.... |

Second Sun were: Antonie Toupin, Adam Cavaluzi, Matthieu Cerf, Marybelle Frappier.
Marybelle left the group right after the release.
Matthiu was the writter of "Empire" chords and melody, involved as well in the production of "The Spell." He left the band late 2002 to persue his solo career. |
