I for one (even though im not liking trance at the moment) dont mind this track
yes it's predictable...but i enjoy the melody...and if this was dropped in a club, i'd go nutts to it!
not the best, but def not bad either.
and i am willing to bet that if this wasn't armins track, people would be responding diff to it |

when i first heard this track, i didn't know that it was armin's and my reaction was the same - nice melody, ok track, nothing special.
i tend to like driving basslines, tribal/housey tracks - so this track just doesn't do it for me. |

That's not an opinion, dumbass. How the can an opinion be what you think other people would think about something if certain things weren't the way they are now? It's an assumption, and something you don't know about anyway.

I doubt that it's the most boring and predictable track you've ever heard.
As for making not so great tracks remember Armin did make "Communication" and that is a sure fire classic within the trance community and he has done some stellar remixes. So bashing Armins production skills that harshly is a little off base.
As for my opinion on this new track, it's nothing special, with a good remix it could be a lot better, but as for a first single (if that's what it is) not a very good choice IMO. |

It's the carbon copy of every generic trance track made in the last 2 years. You can tell every single change in the track beforehand as well as the chord changes. Doubt all you want.

I'm not bashing his production skills, I'm bashing his creativity. Technically he is a good producer but his ideas are extremely generic and overdone. Communication may be a classic to some, but even that is a very very simple track. Some may call that effective, I call it boring. |
