my fave remix of his was his poor leno remix and his deeper water mix, those both pwned.
Last time I saw sander, a few yrs ago, he played fooking no way out followed by yebo..a real mind for those. You never expect ol sander to drop no way out, the bassline hit, the world knew what it was, we kept looking around, going he's playing this....tore apart the dancefloor. Then he canned the out of the hamel mix of blue haze - into nothing...a total choon....I doubt it would have caught on so quickly if people like him did not can it...pure choon tho. |
he still plays to many bad tracks... it was probably the fact that no way out was saving your night, in a pile of mediocracy... |

He played Hamel's mix of Blue Haze - Into Nothing a few years ago? If I'm not mistaken that came out on SAW late last year.

actually no...it was better than any PvD night :p
that night was off the hook, he ended with the sonnet, that made a lot of women smile :). Max Graham playing afterwards is a different story. Everytime I've seen Sander, he's has'nt played a track imo. Hearing Buenos Aires on teh GUV's system is a highlight, AXE release party, the suits had ed off, free to get in, 400 people on teh dancefloor....lots of room...great times. |

400 people being there probably means something...

it was on CDR at the time from PQM, it was originally called the sonnet I think before PQM renamed it Sonnet, either way, hearing that vocal :stongue:

| No offense, Lee, but even the most intense PVD fans that I know have lost faith in him. One friend of mine that has booked him three times, in the last couple of years, told me that he doesn't enjoy him as a dj anymore. Paul has become too monotonous and isn't doing anything new or innovative anymore. The same tired bassline with the same synths and it's gotten old. I went from him being my favorite dj, when Politics came out, to thinking he sucks hairy balls now. At least Sander is doing something different. His style is unique from everyone else out there and he will probably continue to evolve and change. |

let me guess 2-3 hour pvd sets? probably in chicago or denver... Id bet on a weekly basis Paul plays much more diverse then sander, or any other dj for that matter. |
