I actually like Tiesto. I'm not trying to bash him at all. I just don't like the decision he's made with Disney.
What is amazing is the slightest criticism, even from a fan, is equated to a knife cut from ear to ear. |
all he is trying to do is make some ing money and get his name out there even more then it already is. He had an opportunity and he took it......big ing deal...
and you wouldnt do this???//cause you got too much pride!!!!

Also, despite many of dont like Tiesto, some still go to his parties (and u know who you are). They're ALWAYS fun to me at least, the vibe at a Tiesto party is always great IMO and doesnt come close to any other DJ i've seen. So, although, even to me, this Disney thing sounds ghey, who's to say it won't be a great party?
It seems to me that some of the hardcore's that love a certain DJ, must hate another of his 'competition.' And its always the top Dj's.. Seems like the more popular you are, the more hate you get. Just the way it is I suppose. But am I the only one that loves seeing the likes of Tiesto, pvd, ferry, armin, etc... all the big name trance DJs ? I can honestly say I find them all very talented and exciting to see in their own way.
Sure, 'hating' a DJ when as joke, for kicks, is humerous, but I read some posts on TA (not TOTA specifically) where people are downright serious. Music is subjective, yet some people post some really stupid . |

Why else would you go see tiesto??? To watch him bop his head? Or to listen to his set? Telll me.. other than likeing him as a dj.. why else would any other person go to his event? Ohhh..maybe i forgot something.. people like you probably go to Tiesto just to find every little thing to bitch and cry about the event and post it here in essay format on TA
retarded up??? Ive seen TA's with nmy own eyes bash him here, then attend his parties. You do not reperesent all of TA.. so you are thinking retarded up.
Also, ive noticed people bashing him and then adding to his tracklists or talking about his sets or that they saw him at a club here in Toronto. Its pure hypocracy. |
For the last time dude, we DON'T GO TO SEE HIM!
What is so difficult to grasp about that concept? Just because you've seen two or three people bash him and then go to his parties does not give you rationale to generalize about everyone who says something negative about him. We all know that 95% of the world is sheep anyway, no matter what their bandwagon is. |

I've heard this logic dozens of times, and yet I don't find myself hating PvD or Armin or Ferry, or the radically popular house DJs like Sander Kleinenberg and Danny Howells and Sasha and Digweed.
And by all merits, Sasha's been a bit of a money whore too - but at least he's kept it real and continued to contribute to the scene by constantly inventing new styles of music (many of them boring as , but at least he tries, unlike Tiesto who just plays the same records over and over again). |

Well, i didnt really mean you specifically... moreso in the music discussion forum... PVD lovers bash tiesto, tiesto fans bash pvd, armin fans bash tiesto, sasha & digweed fans bash ferry... and sure, im not sayin all the fans do this sorta thing, but ive definately seen enough of it.. and the worst part about it is the reasons some ppl claim to dislike other DJs, sometimes theyre just ludicrous. I think that sometimes people get too caught up in the scene & sometimes forget how to have fun. These are all world class DJs, and although I may not like Sasha's style now (yeah, too boring for me) I would never say he sucks or trash him. I mean, he's Sasha, obviously he an incredibly talented guy. Its just not my cup of tea anymore.
As far as tiesto playing the same records over, i cant really agree with... I mean, if you're referring to his own music, then yes, i agree, but many djs are guilty of this. Sure, he does play some older stuff at times, but its really the odd record. His sets definately dont sound like the did a couple years ago. At least not to me. |

Tiesto is always playing new stuff.. are you sure your not talking about armin?.. i think your getting them confused. Also tiesto is constantly producing and developing his sound. i think nyana was great..
watch tiesto's style he's always incorporating new genres in.. (not as much as oakenfold and sasha ill grant you taht) but he isnt playing the same records over and over again.. when he comes to toronto for his first 6 hour set of course he's goig to play some classics.. its not like he's running out of music to play.. its just giving the crowd what hte y want to hear.
I have no complaints about tiesto.. i think roller coaster rides would be better for like psy trance or something though :haha: |
