lols sorry late review here

i did sander at crobar till about 3am-ish
crobar was pretty pumpin sander came on and dropped some beats

headed over to spirit at 315ish and the in bouncer made me and 2 other friends wait in line when there wasn't any line. how fukin gay is that. there was no line but when we got to the rope, he said hold up guys just chill here for a sec...not to mention we was freezin our asses off. so he made us stand there for a good 15mins for i dont know why he did...

so anyways i got into spirit in the middle of nu nrg and ran into jen and my friend justin...looked to be pretty pumping...

abou 20minutes into my arrival i heard
Underworld - Born Slippy

Also heard Rank1-Breathing as well.

THe music was dope but the crowd there i dunno man the crowd SUCKED. Too many OLD FOBS there, I wanted to go back to Crobar right away. Didn't have much fun as I did at Sander. I duno there is something about the people that just gets me annoyed. The music I can deal with if its above par and sander was rockin it pretty hard when we left...but thats besides the point.

Well all in all I guess you can say it was an OK night since I did end up doing that club hopping thing and following Sal's (dual party mode)

Welps sadly to say not one of the good experiences friday night so to me everything was bleH~!

Miami thats where its at

They played Butterfly near the end - one of the last 3 tracks
I believe they ended with Where the Streets Have No Name

Great night, definately. Almost did not go, cause I was not feeling up to it at the last minute. Thanks to Rachel and her friend Jackie (and Rachel's friend, Denny, who drove us to Spirit, though, I had one of the best trance nights of my life! Walked in around the time that mix of Beautiful Things was played and left after the New Nrg set. Hearing Dreamland and was the highlight of the night:)

i was MILDLY impressed with jason jollins and marcus schulz' sets...but when NU-NRG came on the party got started!! :disbelief

we only had a glowstick circle going for a few minutes then the bouncers made us break it up and started threatening to kick us out of the club if we took out any more lights :whip: :whip: :whip:

too bad we were all ed up for those few minutes...if they had let us make a circle during nu-nrg the true skills would have come out :( what is wrong with nyc clubs lately???

Appparently, I didn't get the memo about the new dance move that's sweepin the club scene... where u lock arms with your partner and twist around and around the club like a tornado, making sure the old lady whips everyone in the face with her magic-permed hair. :whip:

In any case, had loads of fun, of course. I think I turned around and saw Nu NRG's BIGGEST fan shed a little tear ;)

in the meantime, i'll practice that crazy twist in time for the next party...

Dude - Markus was on before AND after Nu NRG.... The name of that tracklist was "Markus Schulz @ Spirit" and the reference to Nu Nrg was just to signify when they came on and played their set. Was the "Markus Schulz Intro Edit" on the next track not enough for you to tell that is was Markus playing those tracks??? Seriously, use some common sense.
