Raikkonen = (future) legend
the race was fairly boring until the last 11/12 laps, when all the fun started. it was funny to see toyota's pit crew cheering for trulli's suicide overtake then he misses the chicane, loses a few places again and needs to go to the pits :stongue:
bad race for renault, great race for williams who seems to be back at last!

well done Williams & McLaren. shame Montoya couldn't get 4th. in the end
Nürbürgring next week. traditionnally Kimi is very strong there as well.. it will be interesting to see if he can pull a hattrick |

he's started to beat his team-mate now, so it's not like he doesn't know how to drive |

Yes, I was cracked every time they showed the Red Bull pit. Are they keeping all the Star Wars ads on their cars or was it only in Monaco?
And I have heard that qualifying is going to be done on Saturdays in one lap. |

Star Wars was a one off sponsorship I think.
Cannes Film Festival was around the same time, movie had just opened, Monaco always a big celebrity event etc.....
Storm Troopers did rock though!!
And yeah, Quali is back to one session on Saturday, but will still be a one lapper.
I like it that way, the Sunday session was crap.... |

The Wookie cheering in the garage when Coulthard qualified did it for me :D I think it was just a one-off though.
Thank god for single-lap qualifying though, the fact that we couldn't watch the Sunday session made watching Saturdays completly pointless. |
