I just agreed to be shag buddies with someone. Who has done this before, what were your experiences, reprecussions. Did it come back to bite you on the arse.
We both have no desire to get into a relationship, we are both single, and we are both friends, and have agreed to tell each other if things get to heated.

well i'm currently in a similar situation with my ex, but to be honest...its basically still a relationship. i mean, neither of us have any desire to see other people...we still talk a lot.
what is basically happening in my situaiton is that in our relationship we probably spent too much time together. now, we feel like we have the freedom to spend time apart, but we still both have feelings for each other. i dunno its really kinda wierd. i mean i feel like we're basically still dating just we didn't label it ya know? it's kinda nice... |

Meh, they all don't turn ty. I've had a few shag buddies and they worked out perfectly. Still friends to this very day too.

as long as you can stay emotionally detached and both treat each other the same way you'd treat going out for a drink or a cig or something then its fine
rather hard to do that though :(
last year i was going out with someone, everything was great
she dumped me in april (day after my birthday :whip::whip:), but we never really grew apart much. a month later we were still together a lot and still shagging. and all throughout the summer, we still saw each other like 3-4 times a week and shagged, but we still had the emotional attachment. and then she went to college and everything sucked, cause i believe to her it was just buddies, but to me it still seemed like more than that
we never really had any of those 'state of affairs' talks, really should've |

idk who dumped who or w/e, but if you think you can just quit her again no regrets or anything then i'd say go for it
and same for her, if she's gonna get attached to you and you're not gonna get attached to her it'd be ugly as well

I ended it but she agreed it was the right thing to do. Ive said im ok with it, but i want her to let me know if it starts getting weird, we are close, but we talk to each other about everything. |
