Ever since Boa opened it's doors, the enjoyment I get from partying has increased ten fold.
I have only been in the scene since Nov 2002, but I can definately tell it's on the way up. We really turned it up a notch last summer. Hopefully this summer will be even better. |

Not that the other clubs here suck, and I'm definately not undermining System's and Guv's spots in this scene, but right now Boa is in a league of it's own.
The only minor complaint that I would have against Boa is where they're moving the DJ booth. I don't see it working out at all. |

Why not? Where it is now isn't any better. Plus, the booth will be elevated and in the center of the room! That's amazing if you ask me. |

Thats why I won't like it.
Every club you go to, the DJ is put on a pedestal; he or she is the centre of attention. At Boa it's different. The awkward location of the DJ booth actually adds to the overall experience imo, because the people aren't focused on the DJ, but on the party. That's one of the first things I noticed when I first stepped into Boa.
Secondly, those steps are a bitch as it is. Now imagine facing the new spot for the DJ Booth, with the steps BEHIND YOU. |
