new rule? (pg. 5)

I really want to post what i feel on this subject but lets face it all the above replies are wasted time, nothing will be achieved and no medium met!
Things have changed, new rules in place! People who have made these rules have their feet stuck in concrete with no room for compromise.
1 guy actually approached this thread with the decentcy to ask nice and politely a few questions, those questions were not answered and instead like all the others who have posted thier "Opinion" got a childish very unwitty comeback.
Ive been posting tracklists in here or about a year now, but like i say new rules in place and im gonna have to be an unheard sheep and follow the words ive been told.

you misunderstand mate, I didn't say YOU had closed many, just that several were.. which is true I don't even know who DID close all of them but trust me, I thought it was someone else ;)
don't get upset! and please don't read too much into what I say, I was just asking some questions trying to clarify what can and can't be done because I want to work inside the new rules. complaining and bitching never gets anywhere, but mature, professional questions and opinions do. I've been trying to be very polite about what I've been asking...
I know that YOU don't have a personal vendetta against me, but somebody else does ;) That's why I've been trying to ask YOU these things because YOU have always been cool to me and I appreciate it!

ok. please just clear this up for me.. just so i and many other djs like me understand.
(in format of my usual TL post)
1. can i put a link to the station that my show would be currently aired on?
2. can i display the set time of the show in question?
3. i normally put a link to the site where people can download my sets but thats clearly advertising, therefore may i put the link in my signiture?
im just unclear on points 1 & 2 whether its deemed as advertising or just pointing people in the right direction.
no arseyness or bitterness just a person who needs a few things clarified.

I think that your maybe one of the people here with a clearer mind on things (that I've seen at least), although I don't know your history so I couldn't say.
But I've also told you in the past that those with problems against you won't make a difference because personal problems don't interfere with modding and if they do, they shouldn't and will be taken into account.
Now, i'm sure we've agreed that things will be this way from now on until future changes are made. For those that this has truely botherd, you guys should get off of the internet a bit more often.
Just a suggestion ;).

It is really very very simple.
A: Post the time, date, dj and station with stream details for a show in the thread in MD.
B: Make a TRACKLIST only thread in here - no advertising the stream etc just the tracklist but thread title can be something like this.
'Wicked Neo - ETN Show - 9th Feb 2005'
C: You can edit your post in the thread in MD to post a link to the tracklist thread here.
there how easy is that . .

this isn't democratic, its tranceaddict.
The rules are made and people should adhere to them, if you don't like it, don't post about your show, simple. The thread made in MD Is working fine as a temporary measure, and it is saving all of us who have no interest in radio shows to be able to browse in peace again. I don't see a reason why people have to bitch about it to mods, for once agreeing with JayD ;) The way it's done is fine, so stop whining about it, do as you're all told, and when the new forum comes in, we'll see how that goes, until then just deal with it, or advertise the shows on another forum |

sorry, there is no vote on this because the forum has been taken over by bedroom deejays and other C list or worse deejays whoring their shows. This will be all dealt with, when Swamper gets the radio promotion forum up and running shortly. If you don't like it, then post elsewhere, say t.nu or some other board. You don't have to post here, no one is forcing you to. |

id just like to mention that im not a internet geek, i just think the rule sucks.. and it took me what, 2 minutes to point this out? so why not.. i dont think you can come back to peoples critisism with that, afterall you're the one whos a) telling us all not to get personal and b) the moderator of an internet forum site!

anyway this isnt solving anything, so no hard feelings anyone, this is merely a discussion and a collection of different peoples opinions.
