50 Cent - The Massacre
View this Thread in Original format

I just thought I'd do this due to the fact that this man has been stirring up so much lately. Monday (2/28) night he actually came to Hot 97, a hip-hop radio station in NY, and attacked everyone and everyone. However, he came in and said that The Game, an artist from his label, was dropped from his clique. He also said that he wrote 6 tracks on The Game's "The Documentary" and that the whole project was his (50's) EP and that he tranformed it into The Game's LP. After 50's interview, shots rang out and one of the people form The Game's crew got shot in the leg. Investigation is going on.

50 is also beefing with well liked mainstream em cees such as Jadakiss and Fat Joe due to the fact that they appeared on Ja Rule's "New York, New York." 50 and Ja have been beefing for few years now, and 50 is basically jealous of the fact that "NY,NY" became a NYC anthem and it totally resurrected Ja's falling career.

Jadakiss is gonna respond to 50's diss on a mixtape. This will be a respond to 50's "Piggy Bank" off of his new album "The Massacre."
Fat Joe, who's not a battle em cee, will respond once and one time only. He said he won't do it on a mixtape but will include a track on his April/May 2005 release titled "Things of That Nature." [I already heard the retaliation track, and Joe definitely loses the beef. The beef started off of 50's jealousy and he had no right to attack well liked Joe, but if we talk from a hip-hop mentallity the battle is won by 50. Maybe Joe puts a different track on the album because it hasn't been pressed yet.]

Shyne, who's currently in jail, was dissed by 50 again on the same "Piggy Bank" track. Shyne might retaliate, but imo he has already killed 50 on his 2004 release.

Nas and his wife were also attacked on "Piggy Bank" and this give you an example of how stupid 50 is. He's on crack and i think those steroids are gettin' to him. Nas is the most gifted em cee within the mainstream and he has been in the game for 12 years. Nas will rip 50 a new if he decides to respond, but his only comments so far were "these CB4 gangstas." This is so hilarious, because it is so true. 50 can't walk through NYC and can never be seen anywhere due to the fact that he disses everyone without a purpose. The man has no respect and is a total example of what money do to once decent em cee's. He's stirring up to sell his new album which drops earlier than originally planned. It drops March 3.

11. 50 Cent - A Baltimore Love Thing (Produced By Cue Beats) (4:17)
12. 50 Cent - Ryder Music (Produced By Hi-Tek) (3:51)
13. 50 Cent - Disco Inferno (Produced By C. Styles & Bang Out) (3:34)
14. 50 Cent - Just A Lil Bit (Produced By Scott Storch) (3:57)
15. 50 Cent - Gunz Come Out (Produced By Dr. Dre & Mike Elizondo) (4:24)
16. 50 Cent - My Toy Soldier (Feat. Tony Yayo) (Produced By Eminem) (3:44)

20. 50 Cent - So Amazing (Feat. Olivia) (Produced By Jonathan "J.R." Rotem) (3:16)
21. 50 Cent - I Don't Need Em (Produced By BuckWild) (3:20)
22. 50 Cent - Hate It Or Love It Remix (Feat. G-Unit) (Produced By Cool & Dre) (4:23)

This is the track list. The best track on the album is track 11 "A Baltimore Love Thing." In my opinion it is the best track that 50 has ever done. He personifies herion in the track and basically tells an interesting story of how the drug ruins life and demands control of one's body. "Position of Power" is another good track. The remix of "Hate It Or Love It" is not as good as the original and the whole G-Unit together is just wack.

Other track's are nothing special. "Candy Shop" and "Disco Inferno" will be popular cliche club jams. They are guaranteed to inspire 14 year-old white suburbia.

The joke of the album is "Gatman and Robbin'" which is produced and features Eminem. The track is laced by the sample of the original Batman series music. It's so cheesy, the is sad. Eminem screams on the hook and tries to sing... "gaaaaatmannnnn." This man's career is starting to turn into a joke.

Also, Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx appears on the album. The track is wack and is no "Slow Jamz."

Overall, the album is weak. A real hip-hop head will only be grabbed by "A Baltimore Love Thing" due to the fact that everything else is so commercial. Again, teenage caucasian America and TRL will love this. Get yourself a copy! Or not!

Score: 5/10

The End.

And I always thought 50 came across as a friendly character in interviews. So much for that.

Anyways, too mainstream for me. I'll save my cash for the upcoming Quasimoto album.

*cue 5 dozen "hip hop sucks why is this on TA you hip hop fag!!!111"-posts*

I love the way these guys put their name on the tunes, only to credit the actual producer at the end. Do they not make the tunes themselves??

This album is absolute trash. Its sad that he has to sell it by starting all this beef with Fat Joe, Jada and Nas. Its even sader that all of them are going to record a diss track in retaliation for 50's track "Piggy Bank". What a bunch of tools its exactly what he wants them to do.

In hip-hop, the em cee only lays down the vocals. The producer is the one that makes the beat and laces the track. The em cee works with the producer to get his ideas out about the beat, but to be a producer in hip-hop is same as being a successful artist. Therefore, it's a good thing that producers are given credit for their productions, they also make tons of money off of it. Also, hip-hop is a vocal/lyrical genre where it matters what you say. Beat is not the most important aspect of the genre, the lyrics are. Hot beats just help out.

I want Jada to respond, just due to the fact that he is way better lyrically than 50. About Fat Joe, I don't care much. I already heard the possible retaliation track, and it was wack. However, he's not a battle em cee. Nas is already ignoring 50, all he said was that CB4 comment which is so funny. However, if Nas retaliates he can forever ruin 50's credibility within the game. Sure 50 will still sell, but Nas can really but a dent in his career.

Wait, what the hell is Hi-Tek doing on a ing 50 Cent album? :wtf:

50 is bs, just like rap is...

90% of that crap is fake anyway. I don't understand how people think all the stuff they bs about in their songs is real.

Nas, 2 pac, & biggi, had my attention a while back, but now its just the same over and over again. They should try to come up with new things to rap about other then, nigg***, bit****, and bling bling.

underground hip hop is much better

Yeah i was thinkin' the same. He needs to do more work with Kweli and release another album soon. His tracks are well produced on this 50 album however.
