[review] Sasha &Zabs at Crobar 3/4/05

sasha + zabs + sasha + zabs vs. sasha = fudacion = i got owned....
zab was incredible...just a sick set from 3-5...although i didnt know any of his tracks if anyone does please give a list....sasha highlights from 5-6am:

sasha and JZ was completely unbelievable from 3-5 i do not think ive ever heard a better set between two djs in my entire life experience of EDM.
ps: James needs to come back again regaurdless of teaming with sasha...he is definitly one of my new favorite djs. |

Well i just woke up.
well, i came down to BK at like 730, met up with john & alyssa and 2 of their friends, we got some vietnamese food. Which was really good. Then we went to crobar at like 10, went to some private party, walked right in with out tickets. Sat around, heard nat waitign - monday :P in there. Then @ 12 the room opened we were told zabi was gonna open, but bouncers are stupid. The dude from astro & glide opene He kinda sucked for an opener, he played some cool tracks, and some older tracks (yaz situation). Then finally at 1 we saw sasha. What ever he did first was quite wicked. Some amazing effects and . I couldn't ID anything. Then at 2 i saw rory & umer who came from boston, went to the floor and tried to dance. then @ 3 zabi got on. played some house & breaks, I remember hearing Golden Girls - Kenetic, and an Apex twin track. Then I left before Sasha got back on.
Now the music was maby a 7/10 from both sasha, and zabi. The club was bigger then i thought. Had a nice floor, and booth location. But the lighting was absolutely horrible. Overall the place was not feeling that great.
now NOT A SINGLE PERSON WAS DANCING. I was the only person jumping at one point. You guys must be blind to think it was an absolutely amazing night. The place was absolutely ing dead. I have never seen a club that bad. And to blame it on 18 year olds? hahaha u guys sure are in retarded (y). It also seemed like both Sasha & Zabi were just doing their own thing. It did not seem like they payed attention to the croud at all. For example, Zabi would build up some breaks, and the bpm, and when the kick droped, not a single person would move, at all. They gotta notice that and slow it down. I got bored and sleepy, and decided to leave at like 4:30, i just couldn't take it anymore. It felt like punishment.
If you say i saw 2 of the worlds best djs last night, I will have to laugh.
Anyway it was fun hangin with u all john, alyssa, rory, umer, daniella, and sal.
In my opinion Markus was better @ spirit. |
