In my travels I haven't seen any correlation between chaotic parites/undesirable people in the crowd and weather the party is 18+ or 21+.
I've seen fights in 21+ clubs, I've seen perfectly succesful parties in 18+ clubs.
I just turned 21 a little while ago, but I still think that it isnt fair to shut out the younger people from the music just because the law doesn't let them drink yet.
I can understand people wanting to have a scene that has some maturity in it, but shutting out a large section of the party kids is not the right way to acheive that end IMHO.
I think people should be allowed to enter the party at a younger age. The kids here really need it.
I find that the general theme of the party can kinda control the maturity level of the crowd that shows up, naturaly the hi nrg ravorfest kinda event will bring lotsa kids and chaos, and the plush leather and chilled house kinda party gets your mature veterans who have fun in a more laid back fashion. |

Not the worst mistake of your life by far. Your young. A bad mistake would to knock up some broad & have to stay with her. Or staying in a relationship you know will never last. So dont take it so hard on yourself. |

Clubs are 20+ here too, so they're not alone. And frankly it has more to do with the clientele the clubowners want rather than drinking laws. |

| I think the club should decide. There are a lot of issues that clubs have to address when it comes to their liquor licenses. The Church, here in Denver, has 21+ nights and 18+ nights. Both are good, and they are very strict about underage drinkers. I got kicked out with a girl for her taking a sip of my drink, once. However, upscale clubs should be 21+, in my opinion. They thrive off their alcohol sales, rather than the ten dollar cover and should protect their interests. |

well...all i know is that i wouldn't really want a bunch of underaged kids around me at a bar when i'm trying to get my swurve on...so i see why people don't like them at the clubs too. |
UNDERAGED???? WTF it's only 21 in the States and its completely ridiculous... you can vote on the most important president in the world but you cant ing drink alcohol?? I mean are americans so stupider with alcohol than the rest of the world? And I bet you probably even have more drunk driving accidents than anywhere else even with this:rolleyes: |

Oh please... obviously in a natural way some clubs attract younger crowds and some attract older crowds, thats how it works anywhere in the world... and why do you expect them to talk about their high school drama? were you that dumb at 18? (btw I'm not 18 and here high school ends at 16:p ) |
