Why the personal insult for the judges ? They do a good job and have done in the past, even if you weren't here then. When the end product comes people should be happy, being rejected doesn't mean the song is total in most cases, so no need for the impoliteness |

yeah really not the way to go about things mate ;)
the tracks that dont get in still have plenty of merits. we just felt that either they wouldnt work in the mixes that are planned or they would need a little too much work to get them to a mixable sound.
thats not to say they still arent good tracks tho |

| This is just a big embarrassment for the people who didn't get their tracks in. Their should at least be no rejected tracks on top..it just is like a big bold telling everyone their song blows(not saying the songs do suck). Just post the accepted songs, and the people that didn't get accepted will know. |

The people who have read through the thread will have noted that this is just plain wrong. Whether or not a song is selected or not does not depend on how good it is. It depends on whether the judges think they can fit it into the set. |

there is no embarrassment here. you've only been with us for what... a month? this isn't a forum about slamming people (ahem) and putting them down and making them look bad... it's friendly critquing, friendly competition, and just a breeding ground for trance music craeted by trance lovers.
yea the rejected songs are there... so what? it's just letting people know that their songs were not ignored and carefully taken into consideration.

well then if ur someone whos been here a while, then why are you being such a twat? you should know by now wot these forums are about and the tracks that have been rejected have not been done so because we think they are , on the contrary there is plenty of talent in this forum, we are just picking the right tracks for this mix to make something that flows together in the right manner. Luke stated in the first post that we reserve the right to choose the tracks we want so i would appriciate it if you would leave any disagreements u have out of this thread. if u have any problems with the way this is run then pls take it up with either me or any of the other organisers via PM pls. |
