If you can afford it go for the XONE
but otherwise if its just for home use, why bother, the sound difference will be so minimal on a small system that its not worth the extra 1k in price. But get a 4 channel mixer at least, esp if you have 2 decks and 2 cd decks
Oh and get the 800s instead of the 1000's , very little technical difference, but huge price difference! |

i have the cdj1000 for the same price as the 800s
and for the mixer... the carl cox is a 4 channels... but 3 slides.... doesnt matter... im not gonna have 4 tables on at the same time |

the vestax cx is a little cheaper... but i definetly prefer the knobs and the feeling on the mixer
its all about the way you feel with the mixer... even if the sound is better on thexone... carl cox version is my type.... all the way |

You are gonna pay a pretty big sum.
As for the xone 92, definitly a good mixer but do you really need that?
Pioneer is coming out with the new djm-1000. I know you guys don't like the pioneer mixers cause of the sound, but it might be worth checking out.
Another mixer that you should look into is the Urei 1620.

And last but not least, if you dont feel like shelling out too much cash for a mixer, i head the nuo 5 performs very well. Take a look, and tell me what you think.
