Am I the only one who still has basic cable (well the none that gets like 60 channels without a digital box)
edit: I HATE the tv guide channel.. it makes me want to rip my hair out.. it moves sooo slow |

SO record the damn f*cking tennis matches that only air at 330am, or 330pm (when im either sleeping or at work), or the ones that run late until 2ma (when i NEED to be sleep bc of work the next day).
Tennis mostly is the reason id love to have PVR! |

haha..i literally have like 900 channels...
even though I probably have literally 40 different CBC channels..it just gives you options on commercials :P |

my parents still have normal cable!
The best was back in the day when I had Direct TV and the card programer. almost 100 pay perview channels free. like another 50 movie channels. 100 or so sports channels and another 250 or so speciality channels and local channels from across the US.. and most importantly 5 channels of porn 24 hours a day.
so many channels, and yet there was never anything good to watch... well except porn that is... and movies |

I had the exact same setup. It cost my parents a grand but it was the best! Watching MTV for the first time was so surreal. PPV movies were great too.. it started every half hour :)
... then the card wasn't able to be reprogrammed anymore and now my parents are back to basic cable |
