Melodics 20/25
Tracklist 21/25
Excellent moody starting track. Flowed well with minimal Beatmatching errors. Good Melodics for the Most part, 2 area's of real conflicts, Mainly the mix at 68 mins.
This mix would of scored higher if one thing was done... MORE SPEED.
It was far too slow for my liking and it just got too repeatative. But otherwise a perfectly over average performance.
Rockabye, You are doing yourself no favours moaning and bitching about the result. Big deal you never won. But so what, Do you expect first place in everything you do?
Just go with the flow and don't worry about it. |

rockabye... man your mix was pretty good tracklisting (not the progression of the mix) wise... i was desapointed by you cuz ive heard some of your mixes and they are perfect (yes 25/25/25) but not this one. i was actually listening to your comp mix every night for a week. i liked the tracks and the progression in general wasnt bad but technicaly the "waveform" of your mix was ed up.. i dont remember exactly now but i think there was like 2-3 stages that seamed like different sets. and beatmatching wasnt perfect. actually some times it was pretty average. and harmonics werent perfect either. dont be an ass its just for fun anyways. i say sing up for the next :P

venik man your mix was absolutely gr8 beatmatching tracklisting harmonix couldnt hear anything wrong. only mix that im still , and will be, listening for some time.
george v gr8 a only 1 transition i think wasnt good, but i was feeling it and that wjat's importand. ps kala re malaka olo away eisai k den milas?? :whip: :whip: :p
i think the below-10-guys could have done better transitions at least with beatmatching.
blaah stop complaining and sing up for the next guys. i think thats enough feedback for now :D :D :D |

| Nyaaaaaaaaaah chill out Rockabye.I'd like to know thought what was wrong with my transitions?I mean most of the time while in the mix 2 tracks were playing together for almost 1 minute and i was tweaking (decreasing) first the LF (aka bass) and then slowly the HF to make them smooth.Some didn't have the best beatmatch (comes to my mind while listening the mix only the mix with the track after Para Siempre),but transitions?Please enlight me :).The tracklists may not appeal to some judges,that's why the competition must have at least 6 judges with different taste of trance.But this is a suggestion for the next compo.It was nice although it lasted sooooooooooo long.See you around then ;) |

yeah...the transition you're talking about must be endless > brightness
OR brightness > twister
i didnt like them, in tech trance, too much bass :p |

I(Transpot) would like to hear some comments or feedback from the judges, especially from Mr2gti, too. About my tracklisting, harmonic mixing, and beat-matching so that I can improve my skill next time :)
