The explanation of what type of music will be playing is great, thank you. And their site lists all the guests they'll be having starting in April. But here's what I REALLY want to know, and I have 2 days to find out... Cover Charge, any idea? And who's spinning THIS SATURDAY? After those two questions have been answered I can go out and splurge on the new shoes and take in the whole club experience for the rest.
EDIT: It appears Grand Opening is a residents night, cool. Now what's that Cover Charge? |

this saturday its residents, the ones i just listed. As for cover i can't remember (since i work there i'd hope i don't have to pay to go to work LOL)
But i'll try and find out or have management come and address the question for you. |

Look, in less than an hour everything but the cover charge has been answered. I am happy. Let this be a lesson to all you people who refuse to complain because it might offend someone, ask, and you shall receive!

What? R&B in the side-room, House til 2am, then Trance/Techno/Harder til close... GREAT!
Where? Republik, duh
Why? Because they have thousands of flashing lights!!!
When? Who the cares, as long as I don't have to listen to R&B and other radio-classics all night, I'm a happy camper!
Now, somebody post a link with pictures of some comfy shoes that will pass for this club!
Jay, you might suggest they start putting some of this info in their flyers too? |

I found a pair of casual, yet dressy ALDO shoes that are very comfy, light, and have a slippery sole which qualifies them for a good dance shoe.
similar to these but in black. check out any ALDO store

| theres a pair of shoes at sports chek eaton centre i saw yesterday for $39.99, very comfy/light weight and will pass the toughest of dress codes, go take a look. |
