No the courts have evaluated statements given by her to people outside of her husband which appear to confirm her desires to be removed from artificial life support.

Holy crap
who the f**k cares about ONE woman in all of USA whose been stuck in her bed for years unable to do anything...face it shes gonna die like that! In times like these I have doubts about the sanity of many Americans. I cannot believe this stupid irrelevant issue is being used by Republicans for political gain, and that peple believe this crap |

well before i posted my first posts in here, i hadn't really watched the news, so i didn't know who she was, or what was going on. i just read what everyone was posting.
anyway, i caught a story about it on the news last Friday and i realized that they are just going to stop feeding her and that it will take up to 2 weeks for her to starve to death! that's kind of weird. i mean i still think she shouldn't go on living the way she is, but just letting her starve to death and rot away? that seems very cruel. |

She's missing virtually all of her cerebral cortex. She wouldn't feel a thing. Personally, I think somebody should just smother her or give her an air embolism, but real life shuns practicality sometimes ... well, actually most times imo.
On a semi-related note, somebody just told me a stupid, yet strangely funny joke:
Q: What's your favorite vegetable?
A: Brocolli!
Ok that wasn't the actual punchline, however, using powers of deductive logic one should be able to figure it out. But for all those who just came from sensitivity training and feel the need to share what you've learned, that was the actual punchline. |
