But im glad we get to pick and choose what is offensive on these forums. Shall we create the rule that if someone is offended the person who caused it is necessarily offensive?
Whatever. Im done. I didnt even care about this in the first place. Im glad that the same people who have been here for 3 years finally came around and realized that im serious 100% of the time. |

I've never said one way or the other if i like you or not, that matters not, i attempt to be unbiased (even helped you out in one of your threads if you remember)however this was not an isolated incident or otherwise i would prolly not have even bothered saying anything.
as for deciding on who is offensive, if one person complains, i'll look into it and make my own mind up, if more than one person complains about a member then i'll do some research and check on other posts made by that member being complained about to see wether its justified or not.
there is always someone who will take offence at something, i try to use common sense to see if the offended is just being trivial or not.

Its almost passe to be progressive now. There was the several hundred years of being retarded about sex, then there was a brief wonderful flash of the sexual revolution, and then the next generation was un-educated about it, and now its reverted into a cache of fanatics looking only as far back as where the goal was lost and failed and focus on its dangers.
They use STDs, pornography, and sex AND violence (cuz evvvveryone knows they are linked) on tv as pointers. Unfortunately as widespread wholesale ingorance runs rampant through the country some people try to be too progressive and raise the hackles of even neutral parties pushing people more and more to the far right.
Have you noticed the polarity of the nation? How many people choose a hard line side instead of "moderate" because they are so pissed at the extreme of one side they choose they other to cancel it out?
Extremism is just another form of locked in dualistic thinking that is destroying not only the US but many countries. "THIS OR THAT!" people scream with froth falling from their well fed lips as they wear designer clothes from Abercrombie and Fitch or the "im not trendy" Urban Outfitters lines.

not all of them are like that. my mom was a young mom...at least with my sister she was. she was 21 and married when she had her...then she divorced and remarried MY dad and had me at 30..then she went to college.
when i was in high school, she constantly told me that she hoped i would wait as long as i could to have sex, but that if i decided i was ready, that she wouldn't yell or get mad at me if i just went to her so she could at least take me to the gyno and get on birth control.
i guess it's better to know, and help keep your daughter safe than have her end up pregnant at 16 and not tell you about it. |
