this car is a beast.

kamil stfu, go sit on the cn tower or something.

kid nyce, at least american cars have some history that they can exploit. There's nothing wrong to revitalize a 40 years old model, don't forget its the Mustangs 40th anniversary too.

Italian cars are better.

Agreed... but anything is better than that awful design they had before 2005. (The original "new" Mustang... ugh-lee!)

Retro=Fad=destine to fail...but they do have their 15 mins of fame.

That car is lame!!! If you gonna dash atleast 25k for a sports car, it should have an orginal design or concept. The only thing your getting when you buy that POS..is the idea that RETRO is COOL. BUZZ BUZZ DING DING YOURE WRONG!!!! If you wanted that design, you should save your money and buy the orginial one. Plus there much better looking and not to mention AHEAD OF ITS TIME!!! This new design is cheap ploy in trying to steal consumers money. You give these car company gazillions dollars a year and the best design they can up with is a design from the 60s and 70s. Are they really going to do this til the year 2007 it 2007 for G-sake!!!

DONT FALL INTO THE TRAP.. if you buy that car dont forget the mullet hair cut that goes along with it.

Just my own opinion

dude, some brands have evolved very little over the years, look at Volvo, Saab,VW... even BMWs to some extent, they take the same model year after year and polish the rough ends. No one cried for murder. Its called respecting your consumers, being fidel to them and not completly redoing the design every year.

its a 2007 model but will be out in 2006, relax.

As the other american companies have done, ford should follow suit.

No more camero, no more firebird.... the mustang should rest as well. I think that it looks horrid. I am not a fan of mustangs at all. Everyone I have ever met that owned one acted like they had something to prove by buying one.

That being said and due to the fact that I have had a few fords (as well as the family) it is easy to say that they skimp on craftsmanship. But then again.. what place actually cares about craftsmanship when they are just trying to pump out the most product for the buck. Every company is guilty of that.

Ford boils down to Fix Or Repair Daily....

Thats ok when it comes to economical cars because those cars are made to go from A to B. Sports and exotics car are built on new concepts and designs. I was trying to point out that being 2005....someone must have come up with a better design than that. But Fads pop up from time to time and catches the publics eye. Aint no harm in that.

My 94 TBird never needed anything more than an oil change with more than 100k miles on it. Our 87 F250 has never broken down. My sisters both have Mustangs and have never given problems.

Meanhwhile.. Our Chrysler van needed a replacement transmission after 4 years. Our Chevy Trailblazer needed an 800 dollar fan repair after 2 years.

Ford pumping out product? How about GM? The GTO is rehashed Holden trash. Chevy's interior design is abismal.

Ford's 289ci engine is on the Top 10 engine list.

Now are Fords as reliable as Hondas or Toyotas? No. But the looks of their products beat out any Civic or Corolla anyday.
