IT WAS THE BEST F$*KING SET I HAVE HEARD BAR NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so many other ta's will atest to that, and some of them didnt even see all 6hours. yes i know it sounds blasphemous, but it was far better than any tiesto set , ferry was just on some godlike level all nite. almost everything he did was pure mynt, perfection. it was a masterpiece, a set of a lifetime. it was so intimate too. all nite he was making gestures and contact with the crowd, feeding off us, and us feeding off him. honestly i dont think i will ever see a better set than that, it was THAT BRILLIANT. i feel truly sorry for everyone who did not get to partake in this set, it was so special. im sure, rounder19, rachucf, drdave, SUZY SOLAR, vtec, will have some great reviews and info i may have left out. if you read this ferry, thank you for such a incredible nite, that set earned my vote for #1 |
i was at nikki beach, ta dinner, wet willies, on the sand next to the real beach, at a deli, manny's room @ the sheraton, then space. we got there a lil before 11 pm and edgar is by far the #1 opening dj. i seriously didnt think pvd was gonna be any good but wow he rocked the place. yes he was throwing some heavy bass tracks but overall i think it was a great set from pvd, even though the cd skipped 4 times. :) i only stayed to hear 2 songs from ferry but OMG the first song was ing unbelievable!!!!! im glad niel finally opened his eyes to a true dj like ferry.. after the 1st time i heard ferry at space i always said ferry puts on the best show ever. anyway i got home almost at 6 am so i can get some zzzzzzzzz to goto ultra! :)

| it ing sucks that I couldn't go to Miami... a bunch of things got in my way... topping it was getting my car towed, and having to pay 110 dollars to get it back. |

ok and now 2 days late...my review :D
i got there a little after 10pm and met up with doug, maribel, and some of doug's friends.
we got in pretty quick and ran to the boxes which we OWNED!! the whole night :D by that time edgar was already playing...awsome set by Edgar, he is the perfect guy to open for PVD, he started off with some chilling tunes...then towards the end rocked it!! had the music going nicely for PVD to come in and totally destroy everyone :eyes: outta hand set by mister PVD!! nothing but ENERGY throughout his whole set.
Overall an awsome night...unfortunatly, i left like 30 mins. after Ferry started...he kept the vibe going pretty nicely, but i was just too tierd and had to get some rest b4 ultra.
and about that edgar track that he played 3 songs b4 PVD came on :eyespop: WTF!!! bro that track was outta hand!! when that track came on me and doug looked at each other and were just going crazy. All i remember him saying is "damn u gotta be kidding me with that song!!" haha. definately the track of the night for me...i will post pictures and a clip of the track later so hopefully some one can ID...hopefully edgar will ID it ;) |

I'm anxiously awaiting the pics.
I'm really upset to hear PVD played Nightoperator. :sadgreen: That is one of my fav. songs ever and I missed it. |

I wasnt there, but I'll agree on Art with this. The track sounds PVD style, not Edgar. Still a good tune, though! |

| i dont remember how it went but that doesnt sound like it was the one. and from the lighting of the clip, i dont think so either. when edgar dropped this track, the place went nuts. i think they had the fog machines going for the whole track. |
