What was the first song you ever made?

Just found the first song i ever made in Fruity Loops 4 (See Attachment) ...it had no beat, no bass, no added FX just 1:23 of pure crazy sounds.
This was when i just figured out how to actually arrange stuff, i didn't know the FX rack existed lol.
Do you still have the first track you ever made? What software was it done with?

i believe the first "track" i've ever done was produced in ejay
and i have to dig that cd still, but i admit it sounded pretty cool, and i spent like 30 min doing it
hmmmm, maybe i should switch from reason to ejay still? |

My first idea for a track was to remix 'Ultravox's Vienna'
I had no sequencer, just Soundforge and Acid, no keyboard either so had to just rely on manipulating samples and downloading loops.
I actually like this though, its a great idea, and think it took weeks to do as I was learning myself to use the software.

some crappy rock attempt back on magix music maker yeaaaaaaaaaaaaars ago, but i spose first real dance attempt was a remix of aint no sunshine (when she's gone) with my ex doing vocals... jeez it sucked!
the embarassment never ends when you check out old zips with your old stuff in!

| It was back in 1993/94 and it was just a random midi file... unfortunately, I believe I forgot to copy it when I formatted my hard disk this month :( |

| It was called Upwards, made in reason 2.0, and as I listen to it now, is really badly mixed, and uses the most random synths for leads, etc. I thought it was releasable after I made it... lol. Not posting it. :P |

I haven't got the first stuff I ever made, but I'll share my first Arctic Breeze tune. It's made in Fasttracker 2 and was done January 4th, 2000. Before that I had spent two years of remixing other tunes, trying to listen to the melodies and recreate them in the tracker.

Winamp should play this allright, but it can't read the cutoff I've used. I think you'll need ModPlug Player / Tracker to read them. Fasttracker 2 won't read them either. Didn't bother to mp3'it! :p |

i like this, AB, not bad for a your first original work, although u did have quite alot of exp before hand.
I've never remixed a tune tbh, i might give it a try one of these days. |

oh..
and my first track was god awful. It was breaks and I think I sampled a loop from a chemical brothers track and reversed on an AKAI S2000. That was pretty much it and an overdriven guitar lead from a CS1X. (which has a damn good tube amp simulator) |
