Well.. i had lots of luck by turning the right bbuttons in FL.. thats about it.. then my friend is a dj wwho told me about "the 32"
I understand at 32 BOOM there has to be a SHISHH-Ching! and a change in your song.. plus a trancesong has a quiet moment where the main melody is build up.
And with that knowledge I created Omnia del Caribia (steeldrums lol).. thats kinda my history.. :D |

my first tunes is long loong gone....
they sounded like ccrap offvcourse.. but actually had some pretty nice elements and ideas to them... if i'm not all wrong, a friend think's that one of my first track's is the best i have made.. hehe :p
i don't have much old stuff left.. but the one's i have isn't complete track's.. but while i was checking around for an old track (whitesun - strange world... that btw plenty of people seem to really like.. it seems to be gone thou and only excists in the TA Unite 2 mix) i found plenty of nice melodies and other thing's i think i will use in some new track's.... the old one's is just for my ears thou.. heh ;) |

Great thread ;)
I made my first track in November last year something I think (had in mind it was earlier though, but I checked the creation date), I still have it :p As I'm pretty new into all this with music producing, don't expect my newer ones to be any good at all. But yeah, here's the first one (made with fruityloops): http://www.myfilestash.com/userfile...o/heartbeat.mp3
I talked to some people that used to be in the trancesphere crew with it, you know just for the sake of it, and they actually liked it for being a first tune. That's probably the reason why I still try to make my own music :p |

My first track was called On Ya Nerves - because that's what it did.
It was a simple OctaMED tracker from the 8-bit Amiga days that featured a 909 hihat loop, a bass drum, a weird bass sound and an orch hit sample. For about a week I thought it rocked, then I listened to it again and thought it was .
I didn't keep it either :haha: |

Pretty good for a first time. You sure it was a first attempt? You must of picked up mastering and all that stuff quickly.

There was a music program avaiable for Playstation a long time ago, called Music2000 if I remember it right. But I don't really count that ;) didn't even have my own pc then. |
