we dont really need to get into it..but you think the banning of smoking in public places is a bad idea?
Cal
if the city bans Rotts ILL start biting people
loca
If they do ban them i wouldn't be surprised. I was totally against the banning of Pitbulls myself.
People don't realise that when you start with one breed, you suddenly find a crapload of other breeds are also "dangerous", and instead of putting the blame where it lies (with the damn owner), it's easier to just blame the dog.
StereoPrincess
just ban dogs in general.

Its not like the govt is doing anything bad for us, i am with them.

WOW! Never heard anything that... i don't even have words to describe your attitude right now!

You're saying, instead of actually learning about a dog yourself to be able to make decisions about them that regard your own safety, you would rather let a misinformed/uninformed government make the decisions?!

It's people like you that are going to turn this country into a banning free for all! :whip: :whip:

This is honestly getting ridiculous!
As trancechaos said, the dogs shouldn't be punished for people's stupidity... there's no need to go banning specific breeds! leave the dogs alone! :whip: :whip:
now I'll never have a pit bull :(

Larissa... I really don't see you owning a pitbull

a limited ban such as malls and stores isnt bad but there should be a choice in any place that is restricted to 19 years or older where adults can decide for themselves. (namely entertainment facilities with alcohol served)

The nannies arent stopping at an outright ban indoors. Now they wantt o regulate private spaces such as cars and homes and im sure they want outdoor smoking banned too.

Same thing with the pitbull law and just about anything else youc an think of. Did you know that there is now a law in Ontario that regulates how hot you can run your bath water? Oh yeah not to mention they are considering a bill to ban sun tan beds for those under 18 regardless if parental permission is given. Look for them to ban sun tan beds completely one day and possibly outdoor suntanning since that seems to be where we are headed.

The nannyism has got to stop.

it's people like him that should move to cuba or north korea since they seem to want the government to decide everything for them.

PS: in cuba you are allowed to smoke in public anywhere you want. How ironic is that?

How can you say it has nothing to do with the breed?? So a big hulking Rotty is equally as dangerous as a little shi-tzu?? OKAY..
You can argue about the probability of being bitten by one, but IF you are attacked by a bigass 200lb mean mother, your ed!

Most of these dogs do not belong in the city (or even the suburbs) anyway, they really are farm animals. Most owners take their dog out for a 10 minute walk once a day, what the hell is that that's no good for the dog. But dog owner's won't see the logic in that they're attached to them even if the dog tries to tear their head off.
