yes, lets see how much gas is in europe than compare the distance people have to travel.

it's a lot less.

here you need to dedicate 30min - 1 hour just to get anywhere.

These gas prices are absulutely BULL. These damn oil companies are screwing us. I understand that the cost of crude is rising but what i dont get is that we should be able to buy more oil with less because of the rising loonie.

For instance, florida had what, 4 hurricanes this year and much of the lettuce and orange crop was destroyed hence the rising cost of produce. But because of the loonie's strength, the costs of these items have been pretty stable considering we can buy more with less.

April is here which marks a new fiscal calendar for the majority of companies. I cant wait to see the annual financial releases from these oil companies.

ANother thing, is i find it hard to accept that Canada exports 80% of its crude oil. Damn Sir John A. for giving crude oil to the provinces, not the nation. God forbid we invoke a national energy policy, you can bet Alberta will scream seperation.

Im sure it helps when you have an oil tycoon in the whitehouse.

Sometimes I wish the price of gas would go up to what they pay, so we can have kickin' rad European hot hatches over here. For some reason I want a Benz A-Class A200 CDI. Also a Smart Roadster. In addition, a Peugeot 206 GTi HDi, Peugeot 307 HDi 3dr, Renault Megane SportHatch diesel, Citroen C4 HDi, oh hell I could go on forever.

HURRY UP HIGHER-QUALITY LOW-SULFUR DIESEL! I WANT MORE DIESEL CARS! Not this crap that VW currently offers. Mmm, BMW 120d... 320d... Hell, diesel anything.

Also a Renaultsport Clio V6 (rear-engined, RWD, 300hp V6 hatchback, but that'll never happen).

I'll be out in B.C. tomorrow and their prices are always worse than ours... I'll play a little game while I'm out there and see if I can find the highest price... :nervous:

Crude oil goes only for best premium gas, unleaded gas is sold in the same old way - futures,if futures for unleaded not going up - the price is not going up,yet companies play a dirty game here as they put the price up on ALL gas when crude oil pumps up.
