oh for your backwards morons that might point out, why is TTA pointing this out, remember numbnuts that the next while to me is indefinite, meaning I could do it in May 06, June 05, Aug 07. |
great news mate! congratulations ;)
as far as rings are concerned, i might be a bit late, but tension-set diamonds look ing fantastic and are pretty unique. although the price tag is usually large too because they can only use titanium or platinum to do it.
good luck mate |

if thats a reference to how all the girls who have posted in here have said spend stupid amounts on a diamond ring then i whole heartedly agree.
i honestly dispair at the fact u feel u have to have a £2000+ rock on ur hand in order to be happy to be married to the person you love and if that really is the case then i wish u a lifetime of loneliness u money grabbing sluts. |
for some people, the ring isn't a "requirement" for happiness in a marriage. i mean, i really don't care how big my rock is, but my boyfriend won't let me get away with having something "modest"... that's just how he is. i think it's more of a status symbol that you can show off to other people and make them all googley eyed at how amazing the ring is. it won't make me love my boyfriend any more or less.
i've never been the type of girl to expect outrageous material possessions. |

well i'm just saying. you guys maybe thinking "greedy bitches", but then the flip just looks like "cheap ass jerk"...
all i know is that when i find someone i want to spend the rest of my life with, i'm gonna get her a nice ring because it'll be a symbol of my feelings for her and it'll make her happy. i'm sure all little girls dream about beautiful weddings and all that so that's what i'm gonna give my wife...
and if we get divorced...i'm gonna steal the ring off her cheating ass finger in the middle of the night, go pawn it, and spend the cash on hookers and boose! :gsmile:

yes but an engagement ring should really be platinum anyway. |

As a girl wouldnt you want your husband to like...be responsible with money and have 5000 in liquid cash to have in case you needed it or somethiing else needed buying?
and every girl I know with platinum hates it because it tarnishes like a bitch and is heavy. They are constantly aware of it being on their finger.
My friends dad bought his wife a 30,000 dollar ring.......
for their 20th anniversary.
yeahhhh. she doesnt even wear the ing thing. If he wasnt such a large man id try to scream sense into him. "you want to do something meaningful!? sponsor someone to go through college or help someone be able to eat every month....but this?!"
it comes down to this: THere are infinite things to spend money on, and putting a circle of metal on finger flesh is one of the more obscure, tribalistic, dragging a club in the ground bull ways to do it. "Heres a dope ring, didnt cost too much, but you now have access to my 30,000 checking account. Lets see what we can invest in." *swoon* |

yep...traditionally you give her an engagement ring when you propose whatever...and then for the actual ceremony you give a wedding band to make it official hehe... |

Quit saying "hehe".
Grab a steak, spill some bbq sauce on your shirt and go outside and cut down some trees.
Be the man you really are.
Yeah wtf is up with that 2 ring , thats alot of damn money. |

there's a difference between synthetic diamonds and zircons -- zircons look cheap but synthetics have become increasingly sophisiticated and luxurious-looking over the years, to the point where even experts have difficulty differentiating with the naked eye.
most progressive-minded women i know would rather spend the small fortune that some rings cost on a down payment for a condo or something more practical. that being said, these same women wouldn't mind a fat rock if it were feasible...
i have one friend who told me she would actually chip in to get herself a pricey ring if her future fiance couldn't afford one that was up to snuff (that would prob. be the 'emasculato'-style cut...). another friend said she wouldn't mind a synthetic because she could show it off at the office and among her friends and no one would know... |

| yeah sets of rings are dope too. They are made together so you give engagement ring and then the wedding band locks in with it and its 1 with 2 stones. Looks pretty cool. |

Read back a few. Go for the house instead of the damn ring. Ring is not important in the long run nor in the short term in married life. I really hope you take the message literally....
I might have bought cheap ass $50 rings when I got married on the second round, but I moved her into a real house and not some BS apartment living. Meant a lot more...and BTW, she still wears the ring just like I do...aand we're pretty well off these days after a few more houses bought and sold...
