You, my friend, are the biggest hypocrite I've encountered on this board. You say you hate trance, then go on to listen to it? If you don't like it, don't listen or talk about it. Honestly, I don't get where all this hatred and animosity derives from. EDM is EDM-- and face it, if you guys ARE ACTIVE MEMBERS of this board, you at one point were in love with (or at least liked) trance... so see, is there really any point to talking trash? Solves no problems. I for one enjoy all spectrums of music, and don't discriminate between genres. In my view, there are two types of music: Good and bad. I don't care what genre it is, so long as it's good, I'll listen to it...
Geez, I wonder if Hip-hop fans debate over which sub-genres are better: Dirty South v. West Coast, East v. Underground, Gangsta v. Abstract. WHO CARES?!? MUSIC IS MUSIC, and it's under those very circumstances we are here united chatting with one other on a music board. Can't we show a little more love / all get along? 'Cause when you think about it, to the average listener of music, our beloved EDM is considered but one genre (you guessed it)-- TECHNO!!! So although we may have our differences, let's try to show a little more respect for the higher power that is Electronic Dance Music, ya 'ere?
