I'll let you in on a secret all the pro's know.... the trick is to learn how to steal cars, that way you can perform ram raids on music stores to nick all the gear you want. That way you won't need to shell out thousands of dollars on the latest synth or PC. Hence money wont really have that much impact on your production.

You think Armin or Tiesto actually pay for any of that in their studio? Pppffftttt....

the answer to making money from msuic production is releasing music pieces that all of the entertainment industry can use and license...
this is not only the music industry, but films, tv, broadcasting, new media and corporate industries that need to use licensed music. As for just nightclub tracks... unless you grow to be known as a producer like Ferry Corsten, with your own label, there's not much cash in just producing tracks and pressing them.

earlier on in thier careers, I'm sure they did, but nowadays, Ithink the big leage producers/DJs get paid to have certain synths and gear... like sponsoring.

Bloody hell, I've read every single post and none of you mofos have answered the question... Come on give me a ing break... is it soo hard to answer it ? I just don't understand why "signed producers" have to be such a dicks ... welll I guess you guys are too ing cool to talk like/with normal ppl ... everything that signed producers have said so far , is in some kind of secret code... like I'm giving some info, but I'm not really telling everything, in other words I'm not saying . Perhaps is some kind of signed producer secret code against people who ask questions such as the one asked by Kopi.

*** S.P.S Code example:
1st>Enough to buy a pack of 6 pack but not enough to buy a Ferrari

Cheers

John
