Guys,
I am wondering, how much you get paid for every track you get signed? It is enought like to survive just producing? Plz, I would apreciate a lot if you reply to this because I am really wonder about how is life for a signed producer.
Thanx in advance ;).

Play live. You won't make it being just a producer. If you don't DJ, try live keyboard sequencing like Nu-NRG or BT.

It all depends on how much your productions sells.

I doubt anyone would give away their deal details...

Ask mister van gelder (aka Icone/Lightworks), he is pretty busy at the moment releasing stuff! Doubt he'd give his secrets away but sure he'll guide you in some direction!

So far 2 tracks with my work have been sold.

Let me put it this way, i can't buy me a porsche , but i can buy me some wicked shoes or new clothes or upgrade my pc etc.

iF you are good in producing and lets say manage to make a good track and a remix each month, it will be a nice *extra* on top whatever you get or earn each month. But thats about it :)

Also, your question indicates that you wanne produce for money, i wouldn't really recommend this.

WOW, that's totally ed up :(, I though you could get at least 1000 for a good track.
OK, but what about royalties?

it depends on the label really, some offer good deals, some offer run of the mill.

but you're looking at it for the wrong reasons. Music first, money second.
