Ok, I just listened to my mix for the first time... I choose to leave it as is... minus the two major trainwrecks (Which I will note in the tracklist) it was OK...
Stay tuned for a new episode of PT on my site which will be decidedly better...

rob yours doesn't need any edits... in luv the track selection!! i'm in luv with that mohito track now :D
...as far as hiss and stuff like that, i think you'll find the recordings turned out pretty nice, i don't think you'll need any *general* editing for vinyl pops / hiss etc

Well I'd have to say my set turned out pretty good, so I decided to make this my new mix available for download on my site. I think I still have a lot of room for improvement on this mix, but I'm never satisfied haha.

| just listened to my set....there were 2 back-to-back botched transitions where i had to kill the outgoing track....the first...i don't know what happened there. the second was going fine till the needle jumped on the outgoing track!:whip: but the rest of the set went alright...minus the distortion on the last track. tracklist will be up this evening. i'd like to bury the mix and forget about it, but if everyone else is going to keep theirs in the set of mixes, that's fine. i'm not going to go out of my way to get people to listen to mine though:) |

well, there wasn't much we could do about the skipping problem, we'll just take it as a lesson for the next one;)
and the 2 botched transitions weren't bad at all, i think we all are pretty critical about our own mixes... i'll consider them both null due to the fact that the set ing rocked and i luv your sound, that dark tribally filthy stuff is great!! this is going to be my night driving mix on the mp3 player :D
of course, if you feel *real real* bad about it and don't want it shared i can always take it down since its your mix after all... i pray it doesn't come to that though, so just put that thought out of your mind :p
back to splitting, andy's is almost ready! |
