I agree but, it's a funny thing. We're the world's largest Catholic population, yet we don't even have saints canonised by the Vatican (although Pradre Cicero is worshipped as if he were one), Protestant churches are rapidly growing and we seem to be quite forgotten in this conclave thing... among other things.
Choosing a Brazilian pope would be the wisest idea, in my opinion, not only because of Brazil but because of Latin America as a whole and even Africa, to an extent, as Brazil isn't a "rich country".
Or the Nigerian, becuase I will never have said this too many times: He would rock :D |
