But I'm talking about supersaws.
Supersaws must have highs too. |

I am not sure what you mean with highs...
(1)
You could take any patch, open the cutoff filter to maximum and play some notes in high range C5 or higher...you should get some highs now...
(2)
You can take an EQ and Add "highs" in the frequency spectrum of 3000Hz and higher. Just take an EQ and play with it...
(3)
I wonder if you mean something different with "highs"
Probably you compare your vanguard sounds to very professional lead sounds made with hardware like Jp8000, Access Virus or Nord Lead.
Perhaps you think that your sounds of vanguard do not have this warmth, dynamic, punch and brightness (highs?) like this sound from hardware synthesizers. Do you think that your supersaw do not have this "brightness" ? Is it that what you mean...

When i eq the highs i get only white noise.
I compare vanguard to zeta and other synths... |

| Even with the resonance down, I still get highs...unless I close down the filter envelope enough so with the cut-off open all the way, it still doesn't let a lot of the high freqs out. Vanguard sounds good but to me it's too metallic sounding...no matter what my approach is to programming the sounds. Even with the freebie Synth1 I can achieve better evolving pads and wider sounds than Vanguard. |

| vanguard can do some damn insane morphing arps i mean im a big fan of arps and theres very few synths that can do them good but can vanguard do some damn good arps using the delay and stero gating. stero gating is en crazy. but yeah i agree usually its not taht great but is it wonderfull when you match the right notes to the right sound with it. truely amazing synth, however it doesnt even touch z3ta but hell z3ta is a massive monster. |

| well are you trying to create like high notes becuase if thats the case just move youe melody up some to be in a higher note range. messing with the filters will only create fuzziness and but why not just move your notes up and adjust the tuning of the osc's in vanguard |
