Hate is such a strong word. The original X-Box is a real ugly cinderblock-like piece of kit, but the next-gen version looks nice and sleek. It wouldn't look so out of place under a TV next to a VCR.

| XBOX has the biggest following modification wise than any other system. That way instead of owners bitching about what it looks like they can do something about it :). |

Is it true that this new Xbox will eliminate the HD in favour of mem cards? Way to take a step back.
IMHO Sony will still kick financial ass. The customer base for PS2 owners is just HUGE compared to those owning the Xbox and gamecube. |

No.
The console will use both memory cards and an optional Hard Drive. |

I just hope that XBOX will still have such a stronger modding fanbase than sonys system. |

Optional? So they are eliminating the HD, if it doesn't come with one OOTB. |

New pics:
As can be seen, there's the new headset along with a camera attachment in the first picture. Also, the hard drive can be seen mounted on top of the unit.
The controller picture shows the X-Box logo up near the top-middle. Apparently it's a button too! Wonder what it does... if it IS a button.
The remote is for the media center portion that the 360 will take part in. Can't wait to see how it'll sync with the next Windows (Codename: Longhorn).
These pics have been leaked from Microsoft’s Xbox360 Revealed launch party which was in Los Angeles last night. |

Media Center is built-in.
Not sure about the remote. Might be sold seperately. |
