Oakenfold - Tranceport

Forgive me for being a nub...but I'm just now discovering these older CD's. At least I think they are old.
Anyways, I REALLY enjoy this album by Oakenfold. Has he put together a better cd than this one? I also liked creamfields. What is considered his best compilation? |

| 'Tranceport' was the CD that opened my eyes to greater things. IMO it's the best Oakenfold comp ever, however 'Perfecto Presents: Another World' , 'Resident: 2 Years @ Cream' are also way up there. |

| I had been a fan of that track binary finary - 1998 for quite some time, but then when I heard his re-work I was like..."wow." That buildup he creates there on 1998 right before he mixes straight into the next track is brilliant. |

| No NO, Perfecto Presents: Traveling <-- better than Another World by far. However, Disc Two of AW is the greatest deep trance disc ever. |

| Oakenfold was the one, along with a little Tiesto, who got me into trance. I wasn't even that big of a fan his old comps, they just made me want to hear more of the interesting music. I'm going to give Creamfields another listen I think today, but I know it won't live up to those mixes. His Cream Residence CD is unbelievable, and although I always catch heat for this I thought up until about track 7 of his Great Wall Disc 2 mix was blazing. Global Underground NY or was it Oslo was pretty decent too. I am interested to hear this artist album he is to come out with at some point. |
