I am training for a good 10K time...I wouldn't mind running but I'm an adidas man...:happy2: :stongue: ...don't know if I feel comfortable running in a Nike run all in adidas :toothless

If you're going to run a 10K, why don't you run one that is put on for a charity?

All you're signing up to do is wear a Nike tshirt and becoming a mobile advertisement for Nike along with thousands of other people.

so.pointless.

I run 5 - 6 km every other day... though its mostly indoor right now, due to the weather, I use to run for my university before but now its mostly for excercise....would love to see some TOTA support!!

As a matter of fact, the run is for charity, the funds actually go towards funding and improving parks across the city. As for how much actually goes to the park could be anyone' guess.
Cuzo
I may also.

Is it the "Help Haris Fund?" I've heard about it...and by "park" do you mean "Haris' Condo"? LOL good luck buddy! I'll still be recovering from Danny T the weekend before! lol

Im not expecting you to run, LAZY ASS! I would be amazed if you showed up! ... :eyes: ... the run starts at around 3 pm. So you got plenty of time to get to the island

:D :D :D :happy2:

If anyone knows a good charity run coming up, tell me.

That may be a better choice.

How about a charity run of flying Cuzo to the WMC next year?

Do you have more details on this?
Money for public parks - which are government funded - is not considered "charity."

The entire run is just a clever marketing scheme by nike to have you sport their name while running around the city.

Although I 100% agree that this is a big ass marketing campaign by Nike, there is a charity involved...I think the deal is that you donate your old shoes from which a new basketball court will be built int some ghetto area in TO...

The thing, once you donate your old shoes you need new ones so...*bing* here comes Nike offering new shoes....

Anyway I don't want to take this thread out of context anyway :)...Runnis is always good for YOU - for health reasons first and foremost! ;)
