ok, the drive home is a really good track but we're talking about chicanes classic here.
Don't think The Drive Home could be chicanes classic. |

original is cheesy but the disco citizen mix (w/o bryan adams vocals...found in the palladium set) is mint! |

that's fine with me. I think Leaving Town is his masterpiece but what I was trying to say is that we're discussing about Chicane's alltime classi, and I think that is Offshore. |

well, to me it seems that this would be saltwater. when you ask people whats their fav chicane tune is most will answer saltwater, because they don't know better. :p
(not saying that saltwater is bad though, its great) |

uhm :conf:
if you mean what would happen when you ask people about their fav pvd tune, most would answer "for an angel" for the exact same reason. |

PVD has For An Angel
Sasha has his Xpander
so is Saltwater Chicane's legacy? His greatest work which he'll be remembered for 50 years from now?
Chris Pork |
I interpreted that as meaning Chicane's GREATEST work, not his MOST POPULAR work.
Saltwater is a classic, but not everyone agrees that it is Chicane's greatest work :p
P.S. I don't think that everyone agrees that For An Angel is PVD's greatest work, or Xpander is Sasha's greatest work. Those tunes are just their most well-known or most popular |
