the specific question i asked was... is this his greatest work?
alot of you guys have personal favorites. i personally am moved by Halcyon b/c it reminds me of a certain time in my life. the question i posit in this thread is... which is his greatest work? not your personal favorite. 50 years from now, which song will chicane be remembered for? Sort of like how Gerswhin is remembered for Rhapsody in Blue, or how Beethoven is immortalized with his 5th Symphony.

| You still haven't clarified what the you mean by "greatest". "Best" doesn't mean it will be remembered 50 years from now. |

I can't stand Saltwater. I know it is a well produced track, but not my style.
Oh and it won't be remembered 50 years from now. Very few people even talk about it now days. |

toss up between offshore and saltwater
i prefer offshore....but i suppose when you weigh it up he will be remembered more for saltwater |

| Offshore is better, in my opinion, but Saltwater is what he'll be remembered for, barring any future bombshell (I'm not holding my breath). |

you s are soo picky cant u just leave it alone? Is it not a good track? Sasha used to drop it all the time. And he doesn't do that with many vocals.
I think Chicane will always be known for Saltwater because it got commercial. But in the end who cares? The track is still really good. their best? Its hard to argue that after 2 artist albums and however many singles.
You all keep arguing why this or that, but not one of you actually say this is better because of this this and this...
It seems like your arguing just because you can.

are all amazing imo
