Wow that’s the 1st time I’ve heard a guy say that about his sister and I absolutely agree. I never understood overprotective and even jealous older brothers acting like some maniac father figure. It’s kinda weird and incestuous if you ask me.
I mean obviously, if a guy’s best friend is an player, then it’s understandable to be like, “Stay away from my sister”. But if ur good buddy who is cool and trustworthy likes or hooks up with your sister, then wouldn’t that be OK? |

Most guys know their friends well enough to know that they aren't trustworthy. |

I dunno...I trust most of my close friends. Actually some of my girl friends have been hitting on my younger borther when we hang out...I think its funny. But it is a little weird when a girl I've had sex with hits on my brother.

I trust my friends as well but I wouldn't trust all of them when it comes to being with women.... especially my little sister (if I had one). I think I only have two friends that I would be okay with dating my little sister. There's just too much history with many of my friends and moments where they've done or said things about women that I would beat the outta them for if the woman involved were someone I loved.
I know where you're coming from with the brother thing though.... my brother was dating a girl of and on for almost a year that I had slept with one drunken drugged out night. She felt a little awkward around me and I with her. |

moral that's kind of hipocritcal saying that u and ur friends are close and u know they're all dogs (obviously you are too) but god forbid it be directed at YOUR sister. i can only imagine what ur fiance's brother (if she has/had one) would think if he knew stories/history about you...
but u love her and ur good to her right? that's all that matters... |

She does and he'd would definately think differently of me if he knew my history. And that is exactly my point.... I know my friends' histories far to well to ever be comfortable with them dating my sister (again, if I had one). It isn't that I think any of them are dogs (in fact I am by far the worst of all my friends when it comes to women and I treat my fiancee like a princess)... Unfortunately, nearly all of us have some moments in our past that are less then shinning... the problem is that I know what they have done in the past and how they may have treated women in the past and that would bother me beyond believe to think that they are capable of doing the same to someone I love.
And yes it may be hipocritcal but I'm far from perfect and I'm being honest here... |
