LOL good one!

This could be her revenge for being tossed from the Liberal Party. That being said, if she can't make if for heath reasons the conservatives will likely pair someone off with her, same as the NDP offered for the conservative that could not attend due to cancer treatment. If they did not do this they would look extremely bad.

Maybe she's jealous Stronach stole the show...

I thought MPs can vote, even if they are not present, in the case of a medial situation (ie: Cadman) :conf:

Nope, only those in physical attendance can vote.

This is definately a negotiation tactic for her. She is not happy about being tossed and this is her chance to either get back in the door or screw the Liberal Party. I just can't wait to see how this all works out.....I love minority governments....so much fun :) :)

My theory:

She gets outsted from Liberal party.

So - the day of a key vote for the gov't, she calls in sick. Waits for a phone call from Paul Martin, bargains, and then all of the sudden is well enough to come to the vote.

Expect Parish to either get reinstated into the Liberal party or get some sort of appointment for her co-operation (and fast-recovery).

it would be funny if it didnt have dire consequences LOL

Seriously its good to see that people arent blind to what has happened. Hopefully they will remember this at election time.

I guarentee you I will not vote for Ms. Parish.... of course I'm not in her riding so that isn't much of a commitment to make.

Dude, this is more an anti-Parish thread then an anti-Liberal thread.

To tell you the truth I'm not sure who I would vote for if an election were held today. Since I'm not ideologically alined with any of the parties I tend to vote based on the candidate. I moved recently and don't know much about the candidates in my riding yet...
